Impeachment Intervention to Add the BJE-MOA as an Impeachable Offense

Today, citizens led by Manuel L. Quezon III filed an Intervention to the Impeachment Complaint against Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. The intervention asserts that the BJE-MOA is an impeachable offense. The intervention is as follows:

We have submitted the document above to the Secretary-General of the House of Representatives even if we currently have no signature or endorsement from any member of the House of Representative. Aside from Quezon and myself, other bloggers who have signed the document are

Furthermore, Quezon has read a Panawagan (Call) during the press conference explaining the intervention and challenging the congress to accept and recognize the document as a legitimate intervention. The BJE - MOA is unconstitutional.

The intervention, or the impeachment case for that matter, might not prosper as many believe that it is a “numbers game.” But we do not. The impeachment case, and the intervention, are legitimate concerns that should be addressed by the Congress.
