No Studying Needed

As a lame attempt to respond to the CBCP Pastoral Letter, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has formed a team to scrap EO 464.
According to Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita, the team will be composed of
Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez, Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Sergio Apostol, Solicitor General Agnes Devanadera, the deputy executive secretary for legal affairs and the head of the government corporate counsel.
They will meet this afternoon to “study” the scrapping of EO 464.
Is Arroyo that stupid? Or does she think the CBCP and the public are that stupid? Seriously? She needs good boinking on the head.
EO 464, while it has been declared constitutional by the Supreme Court is definitely doing wonders for Arroyo’s credibility and those of her cabinet members and allies. She has abused EO 464 to derails legislative inquiries and hearings.
Arroyo, if indeed innocent and not protecting anybody (ie her husband and her allies) from legal liability, should outright scrap EO 464.
If indeed, she is for the truth, justice, and fairness, then there’s no need to “study” the scrapping of EO464. She should just scrap it right away, not ifs, buts, and lame excuses.
