I’ll Believe It, When I See It

Emphasizing that her family didn’t profit from the infamous ZTE NBN Deal, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has vowed that “whoever is found guilty will be made to answer.” Arroyo asserts that her family has not gained anything illegally.
That line is sooo reminiscent of Estrada’s “walang kai-kaibigan, walang kama-kamag-anak!” And look what happened to Estrada. Or rather, look at what he, his family and friends did? Arroyo is no better. She has absolutely ZERO credibility.
Long before news about the NBN Deal broke out, there have been news and reports of her family members, particularly her husband Mike Arroyo’s involvement in shady deals, and corruption. But what has she done? She has stood by her man, who needless to say, has done nothing to help her improve her work or her reputation.
Now she says this, that no one will be spared. I will believe, only when it happens.
