Duterte Files Leave to Make Way for Auditing of People’s Park
January 6th, 2008 at 8:55 pm (General, Davao City)
After so much scuttlebutt on the PhP 72 million price tag of the Davao City People’s Park, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte is taking an indefinite leave of absence. Duterte is leaving the city to make way for the Commission on Audit’s investigation of the project. Duterte has vowed to resign once the COA proves that there has been corruption and misappropriation of funds in the making of the People’s Park.
Meanwhile, his daughter Vice-Mayor Sara Duterte will take over as acting mayor.

even if mayor duterte will be on leave, tell that to the marines! i dont believe he will keep off his hands over the “corruption at the park”. he virtually owns davao city. we know already what’s the ending.

now that mr. duterte has resigned as the chairman of the regional peace and order council. i tell you, he’s into something. if you will see that davao city is chaotic again with bombings or killings here and there! and media will be spearheading to beg mr. duterte to sit back as chairman of RPOC again . it’s the doing of this very brilliant minded guy named RRD. he has no military background but wow! he works like a veteran general. probably he reads a lot about military histories!
