Are we Paying Officials not to Work?

Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo pardoned Pablo Martinez without knowing she did it.
Norberto Gonzales ignored the intelligence report warning about a possible bombing at the Batasang Pambansa and the intelligence report warning of the possibility of another “Magdalo Mutiny.”
Now, fired Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) director Ricardo Dapat is claiming that former Zamboanga Representative and convicted rapist Romeo Jalosjos fled the New Bilibid Prisons (NBP) without his knowledge and consent.
Hmmm… Isn’t it Dapat’s job is to make sure that the prisoners STAY in prison and to PREVENT them from escaping/fleeing? What is another prisoner attempted to flee? Would he you know… just sit back and watch that prisoner escape?
Dear Mr. Dapat,
Please don’t claim innocence on the account of being stupid and incompetent. The Filipino people do not pay you their hard-earned money so you could stand by and watch helplessly as convicted criminals escape to freedom.
Sincerely,
Maria Jose
