Thirty-four congressmen, and three senators flew to Europe with Gloria Macapal-Arroyo and her grand delegation of some 200 people to Spain, France, and the United Kingdom. Aside from the legislators, Arroyo’s husband, children and grandchildren also joined the trip.

the palace was quick to deny that they are paying for the trip. officials confirm that they are shouldering the expenses themselves. what they forgot to tell is that yes, it might not be coming from their personal pocket but rather from their offices’ expense.
still, we, the filipino taxpayers are paying for the trip.
