I Will Not Accept An Absolute Pardon

Just when I thought there was a limit to how thick-faced some people could be, former president Joseph “Erap” Ejercito Estrada has used his sick mother as a reason to accept absolute pardon. As if that was not KUPAL enough, he expressed that he would only accept it if it does not require him to admit guilt. Oh, yes. Estrada is one of the biggest scum on this earth.

I DO NOT AND WILL NOT ACCEPT ESTRADA’S PARDON, OR AMNESTY!

Estrada deserves to rot in jail. And he should. Anything less would be a big insult to the millions of Filipino people who were duped, robbed, and victimized. The Philippines is already suffering a lot for the large scale crimes committed against it that went unpunished (eg crimes by Marcos, his family, and his cronies).

If and when Estrada goes out unpunished, what lesson will it teach the Filipino people? That crime DOES pay if you are rich, powerful, and charismatic.

I DO NOT AND WILL NOT ACCEPT ESTRADA’S PARDON, OR AMNESTY!
