Abalos is not the COMELEC

In defense of the House bill re-setting the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Elections 2007, Davao City Representative Prospero Nograles has stated that COMELEC Chairperson Benjamin Abalos has to focus on his defense of his involvement in the controversial NBN ZTE Corp Deal.
Come on… is the COMELEC that inefficient and ineffective that they would have to postpone the elections just so Abalos can defend himself of the bribery allegations. Abalos is not the entire of the COMELEC. I would even go as far as saying that there is chance that the COMELEC would be more efficient and effective without Abalos on its helm.
