Mindanao Blackout?

Since 8:00 am this morning, we have been experiencing intermittent power blackouts here in Davao City. Since our water supply depends on our power supply, there has also been water interruptions since 8:00 am. Our electricity and water supply is now back.

I’ve heard that the blackout was experienced throughout Mindanao and not just in Davao City. Rumors have it that rebels attacked some towers in Iligan. Reports from Transco, however, say that there were technical problems somewhere in Bukidnon.

The truth? I don’t know really. The power outage didn’t allow me to watch the news.
