The verdict for perjury is not guilty.
But former President Joseph “Erap” Ejercito Estrada has been handed the penalty of reclusion perpetua or life imprisonment for getting the guilty verdict for his plunder case. He is, however, allowed to stay in his Tanay residence. The court is asking him to pay close a PhP1 billion for reparations.
