Kabataan Partylist

They say the youth is wasted on the young… the Kabataan begs to differ.
The Kabataan (formerly known as Anak ng Bayan Youth) is the only Partylist in the country aiming to represent the youth sector in the Congress. Kabataan believes that “the future of the nation lies on the youth.” It is their mission to “galvanize the Filipino youth’s unity for changing a corrupt system.” In their program of action, they list the following as their objectives:
1. Uphold and assert the fundamental right of the people to education by asserting greater state subsidy on education, and immediately stopping the intensifying commercialization of education.
2. Establish a nationalist, people-oriented type of education and foster a scientific and liberating education free from outdated ideas.
3. Assert the youth and people’s right to decent employment, equal opportunities, and humane living conditions.
4. Advocate the inherent right of every Filipino to live in a society free from crime, drug addiction, unjust wars, militarization, environmental degradation, decadent culture and malnourishment.
5. Promote sports, culture and the arts for holistic development of the youth.
6. Guarantee the participation of the youth in all the affairs of governance and decision-making bodies of the government.
7. Contribute in the nation-building process by harnessing the youth’s dedication to serve the people, and forge solidarity with the workers, peasants, urban poor, indigenous peoples and other marginalized sectors of the society.
8. Assert and safeguard national independence, respect for national patrimony, love and loyalty to the country.
9. Promote genuine national industrialization, agrarian reform and pro-poor economic policies.
10. Promote international solidarity with the youths and peoples of the global community who share similar principles with KABATAAN.
Kabataan’s nominees are blogger Mong Palatino, who describes himself as being “addicted to activism; Rico Almonguerra, a songwriter and poet who studied social work; Pancit Veloso the Cebu Chapter President of Anakbayan; Claring Singson, a convenor of Youth DARE and Kabataan Kontra Cha-Cha; Mark Galanga, Kabataan Partylist Chairperson for Iloilo; and Ella Colmenares, a grassroots organizer and youth leader.
Yes, this is an endorsement for Kabataan.

I believe that thru unity we cud build a peaceful nation.. if they know what i mean of Unity.. hindi unity sa pangongorakot! kundi sa pakikipaglaban sa karapatan ng sambayanan… I wont comment on any banner, but i know and believe that people hu r concernd sa sambayanan ay dapat ilagay sa senado… all i can sAy, stop militant killings please!!!! nwei, wlang kokontrang militante f they all know that the people in power knows wat they r ought to do n do watever they promised huwag sanang paasahin ang mamamayan at babalewalain pag nanalo na sa eleksyon.

ngunit tingnan mo ang iyong daraanan, puro kabataan ang makikita sa lansangan.
Sino ang ma pinakamaraming populason sa kulungan, puro kabataan!
kAya, iboto ang KABATAAN Partlist sa senado upang magkaroon ng representate ang mga kabataan upang maisigaw ang hinaing ng mga kabataan! Upang magkaroon ng boses ang kabataan sa bansang sinilangan.

masarap isiping mayroong partylist na magre-represent ng mga kabataan. nasa kanila ang mga makabagong ideolohiya na susi upang mas ikararangal pa nating maging Pilipino. dapat lang na mabigyan ng pagkakataon ang mga Kabataan upang maipaglaban ang kanilang karapatan sa isang malinis na pamamahala, para sa kapakanan nila at ng mas nakakarami pang mas nakakabata sa kanila.

musta na mga kasama? nakakalakas ng loob na may isang partido ng kabataan na magdadala nang ating boses sa kongreso subalit ang isang pasistang gobyerno ay ginagawa talaga ang lahat para lang tayo at ang ating boses ay hindi mapakinggan, but alam natin kahit anong mangyari kahit anong gawin it pigil sa atin ay ipagpatuloy natin ang pakikibaka nang sambayanan lalong lalo na sa kabataan..
