Top 24 Senatoriables for February and March According to SWS

The February and March surveys conducted by the Social Weather Station shows that Loren Legarda is still leading the pack. The surveys were conducted on February 24 - 27, 2007 and March 15 - 18, 2007. Both results are based on a survey of 1,200 respondents, with allegedly a margin of error of 3%. The COMELEC is said to have reported that there are 45.5 million voters in the country. Taking that into account, the SWS survey actually only covers 0.002634% of the Philippine Electorate. That, in my opinion, is not a true reflection of the Filipino voters’ opinions.

IMHO, the SWS should be more careful in conducting these surveys and in publishing its results. I don’t think a survey of less than 1% of the population deserve to be published as a reliable source of information. From now on, I shall not, in under any circumstance quote, or refer to such surveys conducted by SWS.

    Don’t ever ever ever think of voting for MIKE DEFENSOR… No. 1 yan na opurtunista at makasarili…. rememeber, sobra sobra ang ginawa niya noon na pagtatanggol kay GMA…. yun pala ay para mabigyan sya ng position sa gabiniti… nagbunga naman ang kanyang pagpapapogi kay GMA.. ginawa syang DENR Secretary…… eh, may nagawa ba sya?…. I WOULD RATHER EAT RAZORBLADE THAN VOTE FOR MIKE DEFENSOR… Isa lang ang inaasam ko ngayong eleksyon - ANG MATALO SYA.

    yes, chiz escudero has a way with words but i’m disappointed with the fact that i do not see a concrete platform on how exactly would he combat corruption? is he going to promote transparency by legislating say an effective computer system to track down financial expenditures? will he help in legislating an anti-graft and corruption program? it’s easy to complain against the system but when you do, be sure to provide specific action plans. we need timelines. we need specific plans. how can you combat corruption if you do not have any idea how to do it except to oust GMA. If they do succeed in ousting her then what’s the next step. we need these steps. yeah isang laban sa nakaupo….anong gagawin pagkatapos? mawawala na ba ang corruption pag nawala c GMA? and c estrada doing the talking sa commercial? isn’t that a slap to our faces? corruption = estrada = arroyo.
